STREET GAMES II
Street Games 2, es un proyecto realizado en el séptimo Encuentro de Arte Urbano al Zur-ich 09 organizado por el colectivo “Tranvía Cero” en la ciudad de Quito (Ecuador). La convocatoria plantea el trabajo con comunidades barriales del Sur de Quito, que normalmente quedan fuera de los circuitos del arte institucional.
Todo por la praxis desarrolló su proyecto en el barrio de Santa Rita. Los vecinos nos plantearon la necesidad de trabajar sobre dotaciones deportivas ya existentes, donde se realizaban habitualmente los partidos de Ecuavoley. Para ello se decidió construir unas gradas a través de un sistema constructivo generado por módulos compuestos de bidones industriales, sopesando la economía de medios y el lenguaje, que permitía dar una respuesta rápida y eficaz.

Street Games 2, is a project carried out in the seventh Urban Art Meeting in Zur-ich 09 organized by the collective "Tranvía Cero" in the city of Quito (Ecuador). The call raises the issue of working with neighborhood communities in the south of Quito, which normally remain outside the circuits of institutional art.
All because of his praxis he developed his project in the Santa Rita neighborhood. The neighbours told us about the need to work on already existing sports facilities, where the Ecuavoley matches were usually held. To do this, it was decided to build grandstands through a construction system generated by modules made up of industrial drums, weighing up the economy of means and language, which allowed for a quick and efficient response.
