Gentrificatour son recorridos por los barrios afectados por la gentrificación, la intención de este recorrido es realizar una comprensión del fenómeno a través de la observación de sus consecuencias
El itinerario permite una compresión del fenómeno y es el hilo conductor para el trabajo de documentación colaborativa con la intención de generar un archivo o banco de imágenes de los carteles, rótulos y luminosos vinculados a las actividades comerciales y productivas existentes en los barrio previos a su sustitución. La intención es hacer una cápsula del tiempo que nos permita evaluar las transformaciones sufridas en el barrio y poder establecer análisis comparado de los efectos sufridos tras la puesta en marcha de un proceso de gentrificación y de esta manera poder visibilizarlos.
GENTRIFICATOUR
Gentrificatour are tours through districts affected by gentrification. The aim of this route is to generate an understanding of the phenomenon through observation of its consequences.
The itinerary enables a compression of the phenomenon and is the guiding thread for the collaborative documentation. The intention is to generating a file or a bank of pictures of posters, signs, and illuminated displays, linked to the commercial and productive activities existing in the neighbourhoods, regarding its substitution. The intention is to make a time capsule that allows us to evaluate the transformations suffered in the neighbourhood, to be able to establish a comparative analysis of the effects occurred after the implementation of a process of gentrification, and therefore making them visible.
